RIALTO YOUTH PROJECT

The Rialto Youth Project (a project of Rialto Development Association,
CLG), founded in the early **Apply on the website**?s, has
established and developed innovative and creative youth work
processes, and is now looking to fill this position with a person of
leadership and vision.

We are committed to developing best practice that meets the needs of
young people through a range of methodologies and programme responses
such as educational support, arts, critical social education,
developmental and recreational processes ? which are designed to
suit the individual/group needs of young people and in particular
those most at risk.

The Project aims to provide a comprehensive youth service, supporting
community development and realising social change in the wider society

THE PROJECT INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING FULL-TIME POST:

TEAM LEADER ? DOLPHIN HOUSE HOMEWORK CLUB

The ideal candidate will have a real commitment to the ethos and
values of the project and hold at least one of the following profile
requirements:

* Professional qualification Level 8 in Youth and Community Work or
equivalent qualification and two or more years? experience working
directly with young people within a community setting.
* Worked as a full-time youth worker without formal qualifications
for at least 5 years ? essential.
* A vision for children?s education and development.

The candidate will need to demonstrate the capacity and experience to
deliver a range of programmes and services to children and young
people. Clear evidence of working with children and young people is
required.

They should have a strong knowledge and understanding of youth work;
have a proven track record of relevant experience and possess a range
of practical skills and attributes suited to the particular needs and
challenges of the Rialto Youth Project as it currently operates.

They need to have strong management skills in the area of leadership,
motivation, communication and organisation.
